Nice hotel. Good sized rooms at a fair rate. Bathroom had the usual shower issues with the shower head positioned for someone under 6 foot tall. Also no nonslip tub surface almost took me out. The restaurant and bar was not open which was also disappointing.
Nice place. Good value. Very clean. Nice helpful staff. Place was quiet on our weekday stay. Good location next to Ft Lee. Lots of military stay here. Light breakfast, good coffee. WiFi in rooms good.
Very loud. Black mold in shower. No trash bags in room. Fridge not turned on had to wait for an hour for it to cool down for an extended stay hotel it had no freezer section. Sink broken-still have water with shaving cream in it after a maintenance call. The only reason I didn't give this place 1 star is because one of the guys up front was a nice person. Would recommend bypassing this hotel for government travel.
Hotel was nice, but online description was misleading. Online, this location claims to have balcony views upon request, a restaurant with a bar, and rooms with whirlpools. They had none of these. Glad we went out for food and drinks before checking in. Again, it was nice.. but not worth the asking price.
I chose this location because I was visiting my son at Ft Lee and this was very close to the base. I arrived fairly late to check in, 10pm, but the girl at the front desk was very nice and got me into my room quickly. The lobby could use some updating and the parking lot was alarmingly dark but my room was very nice. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The breakfast on Saturday was good but Sunday's was basically non-existent. I ended up walking out and going to McDonald's. When I returned to the hotel Saturday night, my key cards would not work on the door to get into the building which left me to walk all the way around the building through the very dark parking lot which I was not at all happy about. There was a guy working the front desk this time. He was slouched over a table in the dining area instead of behind the desk. I asked him if there was a problem with the key reader outside or was the problem my key. He said it was my key and proceeded to sit there. I asked him to please check my key to be sure it would work on my door so I didn't have to come all the way back downstairs if it didn't. He seem appalled that I he had to get up to help me. All in all I will definitely be staying there again.
